Plumbing Marketing Agency

The plumbing marketing agency that gets judged on booked jobs.

We put plumbing companies at the top of local search — the map pack, organic results, and paid — then track every call back to the job that paid for it. No jargon, no annual contract, no report full of numbers you can't spend.

  • Month to month
  • You own every account
  • One trade only

Three spots. That's the whole game.

  • Local SEO & Map Pack
  • Google Business Profile
  • Technical SEO
  • Conversion-Built Websites
  • Call Tracking & GA4

The problem

Most digital marketing for plumbers is sold on traffic. Traffic doesn't answer the phone.

If you've hired a marketing agency for plumbers before, you know the pattern. Month one is a kickoff call. Month three is a slide deck full of impressions and keyword positions. Month six you still can't say whether any of it produced a single job — and you're seven months into a twelve-month contract.

Plumbing doesn't work like that. When a homeowner has water coming through the ceiling, they open Google, they look at the three businesses in the map, they scan the reviews, and they call one. Your marketing either wins that thirty seconds or it doesn't.

Here's what usually goes wrong:

  • Ranking for keywords nobody in your service area is typing
  • Leads from two counties over that you'd never send a truck to
  • No call tracking, so nobody can tell which channel produced the job
  • A website you're renting, on a platform you can't take with you
  • Reports built to look busy rather than to be read

Our approach

Three things we're willing to be measured on

Everything we build for a plumbing company ladders up to one of these. If a tactic doesn't move one of them, we don't sell it to you.

Show up in the emergency

Map pack placement, Google Business Profile optimization, and city-level pages so you're one of the three options a homeowner sees when the water's already running.

Turn the click into a call

A fast, mobile-first site with the phone number where a thumb already is. Most plumbing sites lose the job between the search result and the tap.

Trace the dollar to the job

Call tracking, GA4, and form attribution wired up from day one, so your monthly report opens with calls and revenue instead of impressions.

What we do

Plumbing marketing services

Search is the core of everything we do. Most plumbing companies start with local SEO and their website, then add paid coverage once organic is producing.

Local SEO & Map Pack

The highest-intent real estate in plumbing. We optimize the profile that decides whether you're in the top three.

  • Google Business Profile buildout
  • Category & service area strategy
  • Citation cleanup and consistency
  • Reporting spam and fake listings

City & Service Area Pages

The part most agencies skip. Real pages for the towns you actually serve, written to rank instead of copy-pasted with the city swapped out.

  • Service area keyword mapping
  • Unique page per city and service
  • Internal linking architecture
  • LocalBusiness schema markup

Technical SEO

The unglamorous work that decides whether the rest of it lands. We find what's holding the site back before writing a word of content.

  • Full crawl and site health audit
  • Core Web Vitals and page speed
  • Indexation and crawl budget
  • Schema, redirects, and canonicals

Plumbing Website Design

Built on WordPress, built to load fast on a phone in a driveway, and built so you keep it if we ever part ways.

  • Mobile-first, click-to-call layout
  • Built for conversion, not decoration
  • Emergency and financing messaging
  • Full ownership, no proprietary CMS

Google Ads & Local Services Ads

Optional, and usually temporary. Paid buys you calls in week one while SEO builds the asset you'll still own in year three.

  • LSA setup and Google Guaranteed
  • Search campaigns by service line
  • Negative keywords and geo-fencing
  • No markup on your ad spend

Tracking & Reporting

You should never have to take our word for it. Every number on your report traces back to something you can verify yourself.

  • Call tracking with recordings
  • GA4 and Search Console setup
  • Form and conversion attribution
  • Monthly review call, not just a PDF

Why us

What makes us a different marketing company for plumbers

Five commitments. Ask any other plumber marketing agency you're talking to whether they'll match them in writing.

  • One trade, not twenty

We don't split attention between dentists, lawyers, and roofers. Everything we've learned about search intent, seasonality, and what a homeowner types at 2 AM comes from plumbing.

  • You talk to the person doing the work

No account manager relaying messages to a team you've never met. The person on your strategy call is the person in your Google Business Profile.

  • Month to month, always

No twelve-month lock-in. If we're not producing, you should be able to leave — and that pressure keeps us honest better than any contract clause ever has.

  • You own everything

The domain, the WordPress site and its files, the Google Business Profile, the ad accounts, the analytics, the call tracking data. All of it is in your name from day one. If you leave, you leave with a working website — not a folder of files you have to pay someone to rebuild.

  • We won't take your competitor

One plumbing company per service area. We're not going to build your rankings and then sell the same playbook to the shop across town.

How we start

Four steps, and the first one is free

  1. 01

    Audit

We look at your Google Business Profile, your website, and where you actually rank against the plumbers you compete with. You get the findings whether or not you hire us.

  2. 02

    Service area map

We decide together which cities and which service lines are worth going after first, based on job value and what you can realistically staff.

  3. 03

    Build

Website, city pages, listings, and tracking go live. Tracking is installed before anything else so we have a clean baseline to measure from.

  4. 04

    Report and expand

A monthly call covering calls, leads, and booked jobs. As the core service area holds, we expand into the next set of cities.

The math

Marketing is only expensive if it doesn't produce a job.

Plumbing has something most industries would kill for: a single customer is worth more than a month of marketing. That changes what a reasonable investment looks like.

A drain cleaning is rarely just a drain cleaning. It's a water heater four years later, a repipe after that, and the neighbor who asks who you used. When you're the plumber a whole street already trusts, one search result compounds for a decade.

That's the case for search specifically. Ads stop the day you stop paying. Rankings, reviews, and a service area full of pages that rank are assets you keep.

Typical jobTicket
Drain cleaning$150 – $450
Water heater replacement$1,800 – $3,500
Sewer line repair$3,000 – $8,000
Whole-home repipe$4,000 – $15,000
One additional water heater job a month covers a typical local SEO program — before you count the repeat work, the referrals, or the reviews those customers leave behind.

Ranges are typical U.S. figures and vary by market and scope.

Questions

What plumbers ask us first

How much does a plumbing marketing agency cost?
Most plumbing companies we work with invest between $1,500 and $5,000 a month, depending on how many cities they're targeting and whether paid ads are part of the program. Ad spend is separate and goes directly to Google — we don't mark it up. The audit is free, and we'll tell you honestly if your money is better spent somewhere other than marketing right now.
How long does SEO take for a plumbing company?
Map pack and Google Business Profile improvements often show up within 30 to 90 days, because local ranking factors move faster than organic ones. City pages and organic rankings typically take four to eight months to mature. If someone promises page one in 30 days, they're either running ads and calling it SEO, or they're guessing. Google Ads and Local Services Ads can produce calls in the first week, which is why some companies run paid while organic builds.
What's the difference between a plumber marketing agency and a general marketing agency?
A general agency has to learn your business on your budget. We already know that drain cleaning and water heater replacement need completely different pages, that "emergency plumber" converts at a different rate than "plumber near me," and that your busy season isn't the same as a roofer's. That head start is the entire value of hiring a specialist — you're not paying for someone's education.
Do you only do SEO, or can you run our ads too?
SEO is our focus and it's what we're best at. We also build and manage Google Ads and Local Services Ads campaigns for clients who want both under one roof, and we never mark up your ad spend. What we won't do is quietly let paid become the whole program — if ads are carrying your lead volume in month twelve, something in the SEO went wrong.
Will you work with my competitors?
No. We take one plumbing company per service area. If we're already working with a shop in your market, we'll tell you on the first call rather than pitching you anyway.
Do I own my website and my accounts?
Yes, all of it. Your domain, your WordPress site and its files, your Google Business Profile, your Google Ads account, your GA4 property, and your call tracking data are registered in your name and stay yours. If you leave, you take a working website with you — not a set of static files you have to pay someone else to rebuild.
What size plumbing companies do you work with?
Anywhere from a two-truck owner-operator up to a multi-location shop. The common thread is that you're ready to grow and want to know exactly what your marketing is producing. If you're brand new with no reviews and no service history, we'll usually tell you to start with Local Services Ads and review collection before investing in SEO.
